Candied Walnuts

Ingredients
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. fine sea salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
1 egg white
1 tsp. vanilla
4 cups (12oz) raw walnut halves
Instructions
Combine brown sugar, sea salt, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper. Set aside.
Combine egg white and vanilla. Stir in the walnuts and coat with egg white mixture.
Add brown sugar mixture and stir to coat. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes, stir, and return to the oven and bake for 20 more minutes. Watch carefully so they don’t burn.
