Valley’s 64th Annual Member’s Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd at the Ipswich School Theatre beginning at 7:00pm.

$$$! Capital Credits! In order to conserve on administration costs, the board of directors have decided to apply the Capital Credit Refunds directly to your October billing statement.The only checks that will be issued and mailed are for those customers with inactive or disconnected billing accounts. Please check your October 2019 Billing Statement for your Allocation Amounts and Refund Amount.

REGISTER! Registration will take place in the Ipswich Theater Lobby beginning at 5pm until the start of the business meeting at 7pm. Registration will be done electronically and you will only need to provide your telephone number or name to complete this simple process. Registered members will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to be used at local participating businesses. All attendees may register for the door prizes, which will be drawn for throughout the evening.

EAT! Beginning at 5:00 pm, members may enjoy a free appreciation meal in the Ipswich School Commons Area until the start of the business meeting at 7pm. The Holy Cross Alter Society will serve the ham and scalloped potatoes meal.

ENTERTAINMENT! Beginning at 6:00pm, and prior to the start of the business meeting, Valley will host several games of Bingo in the Ipswich School Theater.

LEARN! Valley’s 64th Annual Business Meeting will begin at 7pm in the Ipswich School Theater. President J. David Williams will call the meeting to order. Valley’s members will then learn about the state of the Cooperative from Eide Bailly, and Attorney Darla Rogers of Riter, Rogers, Wattier, & Northrup. Members will also hear comments from Board President J. David Williams and General Manager/CEO Jeff Symens.

VOTE! Attorney Darla Rogers will conduct the election of directors for the District 3 (Dean Wessel of Mound City), District 4 (Michael Schlomer of Glenham), and District 9 (J. David Williams of Ipswich) Exchanges. According to the Cooperative’s by-laws, nominations from the floor are not permitted. Petitions are due in the headquarters office by September 2, 2019.

WIN! Drawings for door prizes will take place throughout the business meeting. Following the adjournment of the business meeting, drawings will be held for some fabulous prizes including a NEW HDTV, a Bose Soundbar, and One Year of FREE Local Dial-Tone Service!
